The design of Aqua-Eez pools has evolved
according to feedback from care providers. Their proactive design
engineering provides maximum benefits to patients and caregivers.
The three removable doors are one of the most important features of
this next generation pool. These removable doors allow the caregiver
total access to the patient. They also allow the patient easy entry and
exit. The use of jets can create serious cleaning and disinfecting
concerns for hospital staff and for patients. Aqua-Eez pools do not
contain any jets. The use of jets has not been documented to improve or
add to the benefits of hydrotherapy. The elimination of jets can reduce
cleanup and turnaround time by up to 75%.
Aqua-Eez pools are available in moveable and stationary models. This
allows the hospital maximum flexibility. Both models have an internal
filling and draining system. They do not require additional garden type
hoses or buckets to empty and fill. The moveable model connects easily
to existing sink plumbing. Six spring-loaded wheels allow pool to be
easily moved from room to room. Total pool width is approximately 44
inches and the pool will fit through any regulation size hospital door.

Needs of the caregiver:
Fast exit if necessary. Moveable pool needs 80 seconds drainage time until door may be opened. Fast filling and draining of the pool. Easy and exact water temperature control. Easy to reach the pelvic area (accessibility from all sides, custom designed toe kick area for table stand while leaning over pool, V-shaped seat with opening underneath the perineal area, assistance from the front while entry door stays open with water level still at a comfortable height for mother).
Needs of the patient:
Easy entry and exit of pool (entry door). Spacious pool with enough room to move around and change positions.
Needs of other hospital personnel:
Prevention of cross contamination. Easy to clean and maintenance-free. Cost savings with the design of the moveable pool. All rooms can be water ready without any major renovation expenses.
